i swear the 3d is like in the movie theater!!!! I saw the display at bestbuy about a week ago on a samsung led tv, (not sure which one) and they showed the monsters vs aliens movie and the 3d was AWESOME!!!!!!!! i watched about the 1st 10 minutes of the film. it actually pops out of the screen like in the movie theater!!!!!!!! So cool buy this!

To create a 3D effect, samsung blurred the background creating a fuzzy image quality that is noticeable immediately. The picture quality suffers and so do the users who stare at it for too long. Only ONE movie out for this 3D samsung technology. I hope this is a firmware problem because even when they gived me this glasses for free as a package deal, I thought this was garbarge. The LED TV is very good but 3D is crap. I wouldn’t use it if they paid me. What a rip off.
I invited 4 friends to come over and rate it. One got dizzy, the other 3 said 2D is alot better because in 3D everything looks FUZZY. Even the main characters looked fuzzy. Samsung think that our eyes wont notice the shutter speed going on and off but WE DO. All of us did. Its very annoying that the glasses turn on and off on there own. The quality of the device is very bad. Its not even worth one dollar.

I enjoy 3D so this isn’t a rant about the evils of 3D. Instead this review is more of a critical assessment of the very stupid way 3D is being marketed with content being made available only to purchasers of new equipement leaving existing owners of 3D gear out of the loop.
Later this year or early next year when Avatar 3D comes out you’ll only be able to get it with the purchase of Panasonic gear. Whichever brand you go with you’ll have only one movie to watch. The one that came with your system. You’ll have to buy another complete 3D system from another brand if you want to expand your 3D library by even 1 movie.

Considering that – they work and are reasonable comfortable to wear; includding fitting over my glasses. Have not tested the battery life (not much material to watch yet)- wished Samsung would have provided something other than a silly cartoon for their demo material.
